EL MÉTODO EN SIMONE DE BEAUVOIR MÉTODO Y PSICOANÁLISIS EXISTENCIAL
2009
The aim of this paper is to rebuild the methodology of Simone de Beauvoir from the assumptions of Existential Psychoanalysis with which it is closely linked. Due to the lack of work by the authoress in this topic I make it explicit from her mise en oeuvre in the works she writes on the existential condition of women and old people, respectively in The Second Sex and Old age. I compare her concept of situation with Jean Paul Sartre's as it is showed in his existential psychoanalysis that are aimed to individualities -Genet, Flaubert- and not to collectivities as in Beauvoir. That implies a distinction between "condition" in Beauvoir, as a common situation for a set of liberties, and "situation", as the other side of liberty in Sartre, as it appears in his explanation of his "regressive-progressive method".
