Audio Signal Transmission over Vehicular Channel with Moving Scatterer

2019
Vehicular channel modelling that accommodated scatterer's movement when transmitting audio signal has not been done. Even though this kind of channel has been validated in previous research, however it was not about V2V channel integrated with OFDM multicarrier added with adaptive modulation and used to transmit audio signal data that can be used further to decide mitigation model against yielded Doppler effect. This research used WAV audio signal as input and transmitted via V2V channel that considered velocity of vehicles as transmitter, receiver, and scatterer. Moreover, the effect of number of scatterer against received signal quality was also used to analyze Bit Error Rate and Signal to Noise Ratio. The result shown that BPSK modulation had better performance amongst the other. By using SNR 20 dB, generally every modulation method yielded better BER values. When 8 scatterer were used with speed of 150 m/s yielded BER approximately 0.35 and received audio file was mixed with larger noises.
