Recently, there have been many attempts to solve environmental issues such as implementation of the Green Technology Certification System. An attempt is to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide emitted while producing cement by utilizing inevitably generated industrial byproducts such as micropowder of blast furnace slag (BS) and fly ash (FA) as binders for cement. In case of FA cement, this has many advantages including improvement of fluidity, long-term enhancement of strength, reduction of hydration heat, and so on. When using blended cement, ordinary Portland cement (OPC) has been used widely; however, as the consumption of coarse powdered or fine-powdered cement has also been grown progressively, study on the quality evaluation was not entirely satisfactory.
