Articulation of Female through the Novels of Anita Desai and Manju Kapur

A feminist scrutinizing incorporates a close by evaluation of the way wherein the female characters are portrayed in a work of composing as the ladies' dissident savants think writing to be a huge instrument of socialization. Looking at ‘Fire on the Mountain’ from a feminist perspective, one finds that Anita Desai has scored as a general rule high in the development of her female characters.  Manju Kapur is a writer bringing her voice up in her works through the characters. Her books oversee women who talk all the more boisterously in their life for affirmation of their self. 'Home' is the place a youngster in her childhood days gets annexed to the roots that is the standard estimations of her family which, after her marriage she passes on with herself to her new home. For a stunning span she keeps up a long quietness to oppressive conduct at home and traditional characteristics that is passed from one age to another. But, today, she has opened her eyes wide enough to see the world through her own perspectives and brings her voice up on the planet to challenge the male winning society.
