Summary The paper reviews bibliography related to early diagnostics and differential di-agnostics of Parkinson's disease and discusses characteristics of tremor, non-motor disorders and other neurological symptoms and responses to dopaminergic medications prescribed to treat Parkinson>s disease. Considering the issues of differential diagnostics of Parkinson’s disease and parkinsonian syndrome associated with hepatolenticular disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal degeneration, multiple system atrophy, and some other diseases, the authors discuss the role and share of neuroimaging techniques in diagnosing the Parkinson’s disease.
