주조공정을 이용한 주행모터용 링 기어에 대한 기계적 특성평가

The ring gear using by driving motor of excavator is manufactured in forging process, but because forging is high production cost, manufacturing cost is reduced by 30% by cast alloy design of alternative technology. In this study, it is evaluated as part of hardness, tensile, yield and elongation of ring gear manufactured by cast. The inner surface cut into its diameter is analyzed to evaluate an internal integrity of ring gear and micro structure is observed by optical microscope. Yield strength of ring gear increases by 60% and tensile strength increases by 20% as compared to forging.
