Archaeological narrative and humour in a post-truth world

Making narratives stimulates the creative process and may make us better archaeologists. Among other things, this chapter considers narrative as archaeological method, as means of developing empathy and for artistic expression. As an added benefit, storytelling may encourage archaeologists to take themselves less seriously.
