Catecholamines and the oxygen transport system during the physical loading of patients with a history of myocardial infarct

1986
: A study of the time course of hemodynamic and oxygen load and catecholamine content in 74 patients after myocardial infarction showed that cardiac output as a pump was less effective in the persons with a higher load tolerance (over 50 W) in a high concentration of noradrenaline in the blood; a higher oxygen debt was revealed after equal exercise. The data obtained can be important for recommendation of beta-adrenoblockers to patients after myocardial infarction.
