Trusting the Bridging Power of Autoethnography

In this essay I explore how autoethnography as a method for fieldwork and for writing has conveyed me to new locales and to new insights that I would not have found without employing it. I also consider how trusting the autoethnographic bridge is not easy and that taking the bridge is not for everyone.
