The invention relates to a fault handling method of a power distribution network comprising distributed power supplies and microgrids. The fault handling method is characterized by including the steps that (1) according to fault information detected by all power distribution terminals or fault indicators, a fault handler is started to locate faults, the fault types and the happening positions are determined and corresponding power distribution single line diagrams are automatically pushed out in combination with fault information of relay protection signals and switch trip signals of a transformer substation; (2) a primary station gives out two or more operation handling methods for isolating the faults and restoring power supply to assist a yardman in remote control operation, so that the purposes of fast incident isolation and power restoration are achieved, and power supply reliability is further improved.
