Organic light-emitting element, and light-emitting material and compound for use therein

The present invention is capable of providing an organic light-emitting element with a high luminescent efficiency using a compound having a structure which comprises a carbazol-9-yl group substituted with perfluoroalkyl groups at the 2- and 7-positions and a structural unit (which is not an aromatic hydrocarbon group) having a positive value of Hammett σp, the carbazol-9-yl group and the structural unit having been bonded to each other directly or through a π-conjugated linking group, wherein at least some of the carbazol-9-yl group, at least some of the structural unit having a positive value of Hammett σp, and the π-conjugated linking group in the case where the π-conjugated linking group is present have formed a conjugated π-electron system.
