Inhomogeneities in atom-light interfaces and spin squeezing dynamics

This article proposes a model that provides important insights into the effect of inhomogeneities in atom-light interactions. This model is able to handle all different kinds of inhomogeneities. Moreover, it simulates the influence of imperfect temporal detector resolution.
