Fault-Tolerant Control for a Vibrating Nanobeam System

2019
This paper studies a new adaptive fault-tolerant control law for a nanobeam system to deal with the vibration actuator faults and the control problems. The main purpose is that by designing a barrier Lyapunov function, we get a new control scheme to regulate the vibration and stabilize the nanosystem with output constraints. When the actuator failure of the nanosystem occurs, unexpected vibration is suppressed by adjusting the control coefficients. After choosing suitable control parameters, stability analyses of the system show that the output converges to a small neighbourhood of zero. Simulation results illustrate that the designed control is feasible for the nanosystem.
