Fluidity of alloys under high pressure die casting conditions

2005
The fluidity length is generally inversely proportional to the solidification interval of an alloy. We report that, under high pressure die casting conditions, this relationship does not hold. Rather, the fluidity length increases with decreasing solidus temperature of an alloy.
