Analysis of genes expressed in root nodules of broad bean (Vicia faba L.)

1997
Soil bacteria from the genera Rhizobium, Bradyrhizobium and Azorhizobium induce the formation of symbiotic organs, designated root nodules, on the roots of legumes. Within mature root nodules, nitrogen fixation is carried out by the microsymbiont. In our group, we focus on the molecular analysis of the plant’s part of the symbiotic interaction of broad bean (Vicia faba L.) with R. leguminosarum bv. viciae.
