Synthesis and inhibition performance evaluation of the corrosion inhibitor of imidazoline quaternary

2013
An more thermostable and acid-resistance imidazolium quaternary corrosion inhibitor was synthesized. The optimal synthesis condition were as follows:the molar ratio of oleic acid to diethylenetriamine was 1∶ 1.2,acylation reaction temperature was 160 ℃,acylation time was 3 h;cyclization reaction temperature was 220 ℃,cyclization time was 4 h;benzyl chloride was selected as quaternization reagent and the molar ratio of benzyl chloride to imidazoline intermediate was 1.2∶ 1,quaterization temperature was 60 ℃,reaction time was 3 h.In 15% hydrochloric acid, when the mass fraction of the inhibitor was 0.5%,the corrosion rate was 99.1%,with acidification temperature 80 ℃ and time 4 h.
