Overview of Low Voltage Ride Through in Photovoltaic Power Generation

With the expansion of installed capacity of photovoltaic equipment in recent years,solar power generation presents an ever-growing proportion in the total power supply.However,when a failure happens to the power grid,or voltage dips,the PV array may step out to bring instability to the grid or even cause the total paralysis of the grid.This paper overviews three kinds of photovoltaic inverter through the low voltage solutions and control strategies with a focus on analyzing the voltage support solution based on the reactive current control.
