Some Models for the Transverse Creep and Damage Behaviour of a Unidirectional Reinforced Polymer Matrix Composite

1998
The transverse behaviour of polymer matrix composites is matrix dominated and exhibit time dependent effects. For the use of such composites in structural components, it is necessary to have a good knowledge of those time dependent characteristics and some predictions of the behaviour under an estimated complex mechanical loading history in interaction with environmental variations.
