Fostering exchange instead of “distancing”: How to cooperate successfully across federal borders

As a result of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, all competence centers for specialist training in family medicine faced similar challenges of converting their mentoring programs to digital formats. Existing communication structures based on the national integration of the responsible organizers for the mentoring program, helped to make it possible for resources to be pooled and available resources to be exploited.
