Effect of deformation on the structure and properties of nickel alloy castings
1981
1.
Hot deformation of cast alloys KhN64MYuVMT and KhN62MKYuTB with>50 wt. % intermetallic phase produced by controlled crystallization leads to a sharp reduction of the heat resistance at operating temperatures (1050 and 1100°).
2.
The low creep resistance of the deformed material is due to the more highly developed intergranular surface and the coarse heterophase intragranular structure of the metal.
