PHOTOIONIZATION AND PHOTODISSOCIATION OF BROMOETHANE USING SYNCHROTRON RADIATION

The kinetics processes of the photoionization and photodissociation of bromoethane have been studied by using synchrotron radiation. The photoionization efficiency (PIE) curves of the fragmental ions are measured, Based on these curves, the ion potential of C 2H 5Br and the appearance potential of some fragmental ions are obtatined. The enthalpy formation of ions, the bond energy of molecule or the related molecule ions have been eveluated. The most possible channel of the dissociation photoionization have been analyzed.
