Treatment of Low C/N Urban Sewage by New Type Two-sludge Process

[Objective]The research aimed to optimize two-sludge process,and to clear up the problem in this process.[Method]Simulated sewage was prepared and treated by new type two-sludge process.Then the qualities of pre-treated and after-treated simulated sewage were determined and compared.[Result]The results showed that in the experiment,the quality of effluent sewage(COD40 mg/L,TN15 mg/L,NH3-N3 mg/L,TP0.5 mg/L) can achieve the classⅠ-A criteria specified in Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant(GB18918-2002).[Conclusion]These results indicated that the new type two-sludge process could not only resolve nitrifying bacteria and phosphorus removal bacteria contradiction between the sludge age problem,and could also be used for dealing with low C/N urban sewage.
