Tretman otpadne vode iz industrije čelika bez upotrebe hemikalija

2019
Every water that passes through different processes changes its properties and begins to lose its natural balance. Hardness inside water causes many problems in the domestic and industry. The growing demands for water of high quality necessitate the development of modern and cost-effective technologies for softening hard and very hard waters. One of these techniques is an electrocoagulation or electrochemical process (EC). The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of the EC process in the removal of water hardness using titanium rod electrodes in different circumstances and to compare with conventional systems using chemicals. The research was carried out on a pilot plant called the Universal Environmental Technology System (UET System). The plant consists of a heat pump, a heat exchanger, a cooling tower and a UET reactor. Using the UET system, it has been determined that the natural balance of water can be restored by removing only those minerals that disturb the process. By flowing through the UET electrochemical process, water returns to its equilibrium within the reaction chamber, leaving the whole system free of deposits, corrosion and biological contamination
