Mathematical simulation of liquid-gas system behavior under the action of various disturbing factors

A mathematical model describing the behavior of a system of two immiscible incompressible liquids based on smoothing of the parameters characteristic of the physical properties of the contacting media is presented. A two-dimensional problem which takes into account the thermal interaction between the liquids and the surface capillary and thermocapillary forces in the liquid contact zone is formulated and a qualitative comparison with the results obtained by means of other methods is given. The potential of the algorithm is illustrated by solving the problem of the complex interaction between the capillary and thermocapillary forces in the merging of two liquid drops submerged in another liquid
