Research on the height-diameter model of tree with artificial neural network

Based on 99 populus tomemtosa’s basal area and tree height materials in NO.3 district of Henan Agricultural University,the paper,utilizing modeling technology of the artificial neural network,carried on t the tree height-diameter model of the BP artificial neural network model and exponential function model..Between the two functions: the precision of the rtificial neural network model is better than the exponential function model,the aberration is less.While the exponential function fitting curve worse,the artificial neural network makes very high precision too.It has obvious advantage of fitting curve.
