Synthesis of constrained bicyclic dipeptide mimetics

Abstract An efficient synthesis of constrained bicyclic peptidomimetics of (R)-Phe-Pro dipeptide is described. Such mimetics may provide an opportunity to develop inhibitors of thrombin possessing the desired pharmacological features.
