Uniform FeSnO(OH)5 submicrocubes: A promising anode for lithium ion batteries with high performance

2020
Abstract In this endeavor FeSnO(OH)5 submicrocubes are prepared by a facile precipitation method and are firstly introduced as the anode of LIBs. Impressively, lithium insertion/extraction is completely reversible and the as-prepared sample exhibits an excellent lithium storage performance. The discharge capacity maintains 550 mAh g-1 after 400 cycles at 100 mA g-1, 165.4 mAh g-1 even at 5 C, which is much superior to that of the commercial graphite anode and most of the reported tin oxide hydroxides, thereby, shows great application prospects in next LIBs anode.
