AVALIAÇÃO DA QUALIDADE DE MUDAS DE SCHIZOLOBIUM PARAHYBA EM FUNÇÃO DE DIFERENTES APLICAÇÕES DE ADUBO FOSFATADO EVALUATION OF SCHIZOLOBIUM PARAHYBA SEEDLING QUALITY IN FUNCTION OF DIFFERENT PHOSPHATE FERTILIZER APPLICATION

The objective of this study was to diagnose the best dosage of phosphorus for Schizolobiumparahyba seedlings growth. Used substrate was mixed with simple granulated superphosphate in different levels, 0 mg.dm -3 , 800 mg.dm -3 , 1600 mg.dm -3 and 2400 mg.dm -3 . Ninety-six days after sowing shoot dry mass (SDM), root dry mass (RDM), diameter (D) and hight (H) were evaluated. Quality indicators ratio H/D, ratio SDM/RDM and DQI (Dickson Quality Index) were estimated. The material was packed in paper bags and dried under forced circulation oven at 65 °C for 72 hours and then the dry matter was measured in accuracy balance of 0.01 g.
