Effect of Different Irrigation Norm on Growth Characteristic of Potted Cotton

To improve water use efficiency,a potting experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of different irrigation quantity on cotton.With transgenic insect-resistance hybrid cultivars Huazamian H318 as materials,5 irrigation rates(T1,T2,T3,T4,T5) were established with reference to the natural evaporation.T1,T2,T3,T4,T5 is 100%,90%,80%,70% and 60%,respectively.The results indicated that with the increase of irrigation quantity,the stem diameter,plant height,internode length of the main stems and fruit branches and the 1st fruit branch height of cotton plant all increase.More leaf weight ratio,fruiting branches and fruit nodes appeared to result from the more irrigation quantity.
