Sodium alginate-zwitterion modified graphene oxide hybrid composite membrane, preparation and application

2015
The invention discloses a sodium alginate-zwitterion modified graphene oxide hybrid composite membrane. The sodium alginate-zwitterion modified graphene oxide hybrid composite membrane comprises a separating layer and a supporting layer, wherein a sodium alginate-zwitterion modified graphene oxide hybrid membrane is taken as the separating layer, and a polyacrylonitrile ultrafiltration membrane is taken as the supporting layer. According to the preparation, firstly, graphite flakes are oxidized to prepare graphene oxide, sulfobetaine methacrylate is taken as a zwitterionic monomer by means of free radical polymerization, and ammonium persulfate is taken as an initiator to obtain zwitterion modified graphene oxide; a zwitterion modified graphene oxide and sodium alginate mixed solution is prepared, the surface of the polyacrylonitrile ultrafiltration membrane is coated with the mixed solution with a spin-coating method, and the sodium alginate-zwitterion modified graphene oxide hybrid composite membrane is obtained after calcium chloride crosslinking treatment. The preparation process is simple and convenient, raw materials are easy to obtain, the condition is mild, and the prepared sodium alginate-zwitterion modified graphene oxide hybrid composite membrane is used for ethanol/water separation and has higher permeation flux and separation factors.
