Optical Codebook-Based Hybrid Precoding for Intelligent Reflecting Surface-Assisted mmWave C-RAN Systems

An optical codebook-based hybrid precoding is proposed for intelligent reflecting surface-assisted millimeter-wave cloud radio access networks, where an optical codebook-based alternating optimization algorithm is developed. Based on numerical simulation, the obtained results are discussed.
