The invention relates to a process for the dehumidification of a humid gas mixture in which the moist gas mixtures are brought into contact with an absorbent comprising dialkylimidazolium salts and trialkyl phosphate. In addition, the invention also relates to an absorption heat pump comprising absorbent to the invention and the absorbents according to the invention itself.
