Slips mechanism for trenchless pipe pushing machine

2014
The invention relates to a slips mechanism for a trenchless pipe pushing machine. The mechanism comprises a clamping device body capable of being opened or closed; a circular hole through which a pipeline can be mounted is formed in the center of the clamping device in a closed state; a plurality of slips which are uniformly distributed along the circumference direction of the circular hole are mounted on the clamping device body. The mechanism is characterized in that the slips are movably mounted in the clamping device; clamping oil cylinders are arranged on the rear surface of the slips; one of the ends of the clamping oil cylinders is connected with the clamping device body, and while the other one of the ends of the clamping oil cylinder is connected with the rear parts of the slips; the slips can be driven by the clamping oil cylinders to radially telescopically move along the circular hole; the clamping surfaces of the slips are of a circular arc shape which is adapted to that of the peripheral surface of the pipeline, and anti-skid layers are fixedly combined with the clamping surfaces. The mechanism is reasonable in structure and convenient to use; the phenomenon of slipping between the slips and the pipeline can be effectively prevented, and thus the outer surface of the protection pipe can be prevented from being damaged.
