X-ray system for high-resolution differential phase contrast imaging an object under examination

2013
The invention relates to an X-ray recording system for differential phase-contrast imaging of an examination object (6) with at least one X-ray source (3) for producing quasi-coherent X-rays (12), an X-ray image detector (4) with a radiation-sensitive, effective for the X-ray imaging input surface and in a matrix of pixels arranged, a diffractive or phase grating (17) which is arranged between the object to be examined (6) and the X-ray image detector (4), a phase grating (17) associated with the analyzer (18) and an imaging system (8) for controlling the X-ray image detector (4) and receiving and processing the image signals of the X-ray image detector (4). According to the invention, the phase grating (17) and the analyzer (18) such a size that they cover only a part of the input face of the X-ray image detector (4) and the imaging system (8) is designed such that it's (of the grids 17 ) and (18) covered part of the input face of the X-ray image detector (4) as a portion for phase contrast imaging, and that the remaining portion of the X-ray image detector (4) for based on the absorption of X-ray imaging is read and processed.
