Ready for Goal-Based Standards for new ship construction

This paper briefly describes the current status of GBS for new ship construction of IMO and the features which may impact the vessel's supervision work for administration.Facing the challenge,competent authority should take corresponding action to adapt to the changes of new standards and find new proper methods to supervise the vessel in safety and environmental protection under the new situation.
