The SCOR Ontologies Framework for Robotics Testbed

2018
The Semantic COordination for Rawfie (SCOR) experimentation framework aims to provide a solid practical evidence that federated robotics testbeds, particularly ones provided by EU Horizon 2020 RAWFIE project, are capable to support advanced experimentation related to coordination through automatic generation of target-specific code directly from a high-level experiment description. SCOR builds upon the RAWFIE platform to assist experimenters by providing a semantics-based easy-to-use composite mission flow editor extension based on automatic EDL code generator. The flexibility of such experimental environment is addressed by adoption of domain and system ontologies for formal representation of semantics of the problem. This paper deals with ontologies needed for the SCOR experimentation framework implementation.
