Method for testing soot dispersing performance of engine oil

The invention discloses a method for testing the soot dispersing performance of engine oil. The method includes steps of A, manufacturing to-be-tested oil samples, to be more specific, adding soot particles into the engine oil, and stirring and uniformly mixing the soot particles and the engine oil to form the to-be-measured oil samples; B, testing the dispersing performance, to be more specific, arranging the to-be-measured oil samples in a rotational rheometer and measuring time-varying curves of the viscosity of the oil samples under the conditions of fixed shear rates and fixed temperatures; C, acquiring the dispersing performance, to be more specific, computing viscosity increase values and slope in a certain period of time and measuring the slope. The dispersing capacity of the engine oil is good if the slope is low.
