The invention relates to a data transmission device applied to power information acquisition. The data transmission device comprises a processor, wherein the processor is connected with a power circuit, a GPRS (general packet radio service) circuit, an Ethernet circuit, a serial port circuit, a hardware watchdog circuit and an external resetting circuit, is used for performing protocol conversion between GPRS wireless data and serial port data and converting the wireless data received by the GPRS circuit into the serial port data, and communicates with a power distribution power through the Ethernet circuit or an RS232 serial port circuit. The data transmission device disclosed by the invention communicates with a background server by a wireless connection mode, so that the potential safety hazard, caused by wiring, to the engineering is relieved; transmission for information in the power distribution cabinet is implemented by various interfaces, such as the RS232 interface or an Ethernet; the interference resistance of a system is improved, and the differential mode and common mode interference are well suppressed; a power supply part adopts anti-lightning design, and each data wire is protected by a thermistor; the system has a manual resetting function and an automatic resetting function, so that the system stability is enhanced. By the adoption of the anti-lightning design, the accidental rate is lowered.
