Морфофункциональные особенности размножения мелких млекопитающих в условиях урбанизированной среды обитания на примере г. Оренбурга

The article is concerned with the study on the system of reproductive organs of small mammals inhabiting different territories of the city of Orenburg by means of histological, histochemical and morphometric survey methods. Marked biotopic differences in the abundance and distribution of small mammals on different territories of the city have been revealed. The most favorable for inhabiting and reproduction of small mammals within the urban boundaries are the districts of privately-owned buildings, holiday cottages (dacha massifs), forest belts. In the small mammal animals under study there was observed an increased (as compared with the natural ecosystems) destruction of germinative gonad structures increase of the share of canaliculies with the destruction of spermatogenous epithelium and a more intensive emaciation of follicular reserve in the ovaries. Among the studied small mammal species the best adaptive capacities to the conditions of large cities were observed in house mice.
