Prediction method for water quantity and water quality of leachate at sanitary landfill sites

Three models predicting leachate quantity of sanitary landfill sites were compared in the paper.The formula,Q=C×I×A×10-3,was recommended as the prediction model for leachate quantity of sanitary landfill sites.According to comparison between prediction value and observation value,the reliability and the accuracy of prediction model were analyzed by a case study at a certain sanitary landfill site in Liaoning province,which can provide a scientific basis for the prediction of leachate of sanitary landfill sites and the design of leachate collection and treatment systems.Furthermore,the characteristics of leachate water quality were analyzed based on the observation values of leachate water quality at home and abroad.
