Resumen. Se recopila informacion para representar los especimenes tipo de 29 especies de peces cubanos (Superclase Osteichthyes), desde el Orden Cyprinodontiformes hasta el Orden Ophidiiformes. La recopilacion se ha hecho segun el orden alfabetico de los Ordenes de la Clase; con ilustraciones y datos asociados. 11 de las especies fueron descritas por Don Felipe Poey y Aloy, conocido naturalista cubano del siglo XIX. Los resultados se han ordenado a modo de catalogo, con la sistematica actualizada, la institucion que las atesora y su numero de catalogo, la localidad tipo, la referencia y el titulo del trabajo correspondiente. Para algunas especies se ofrece la fecha de colecta, asi como la profundidad y la expedicion en que se colectaron los ejemplares; en ocasiones tambien aparece el colector. La informacion ofrecida ha estado dispersa hasta el momento, por lo que esta publicacion constituye una recopilacion de mucho valor y utilidad. Catalog illustrated of the specimens type of Cubansfishes II (Osteichthyes, clase: Actinopterygii: Cyprinodontiformes, Gadiformes, Lampridiformes, Mugiliformes, Myctophiformes, Ophidiformes). The information from different databases was collected to present the type specimens of 29 Cuban fishes (Superclass Osteichthyes) in alphabetical order of the order of the Class from Cyprinodontiformes to Ophidiiformes; with their original illustrations and associated data. 11 of them are Poey's specimens, the famous Cuban naturalist from 19th century. The results are presented as an illustrated catalog, with updated systematic, depositary institution and catalog number in the collection, type locality, bibliographic reference and the title of the paper. In some cases are also included the collection date, the expedition name, the sea depth; sometimes the collector´name as well.
