PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS: CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE RURAL I-70 CORRIDOR

The Colorado Department of Transportation has initiated a dynamic and aggressive Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems program throughout the State of Colorado to address safety and congestion issues along urban and rural roadway corridors. Development of IVHS technologies and services is progressing at a rapid pace. Certain non-technical issues are creating obstacles to deploying IVHS.
