Tuning the electronic properties of 2DEG at oxide interface

2020
Light illumination is one of the important stimuli used to tune the electronic properties of semiconductor materials. We have studied the effect of the light illumination for an insulating (3unit cell (u.c.) of LaVO3(LVO) on SrTiO3(STO)) and a conducting (5u.c. of LVO on STO) oxide interface using different wavelength of light. For the insulating interface, under 405nm and 532nm light illuminations transient photoconductivity (TPC) has observed at 150K. The conducting interface shows small PPCunder only 405nm illumination but zero PPC under 532nm illumination.
