Efectividad de un programa educativo en el nivel de conocimiento sobre prevención de infecciones de transmisión sexual en adolescentes, Moche

ABSTRACT Pre-experimental research was conducted in the community of Curva de Sun, in the Mothers Club "Sacred Heart of Mary" Moche, 2018. With the purpose of determining the effectiveness of the educational program "Caring for my Adolescence" at the level of knowledge on prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections in adolescents. The sample universe consisted of 30 adolescents who met the inclusion criteria. For data collection, a questionnaire was applied to determine the level of knowledge on prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections and the educational program "Caring for my Adolescence". The IBM SPSS STATISTICS Version 25 was used to process the data and the Student's T test was used to determine the effectiveness of the program. The results were presented in single and double entry tables and show that before the program 50 percent of adolescents obtained a low level of knowledge and 77 percent obtained a high level. In 100% of adolescents the application of the educational program was effective. The educational program was effective in increasing knowledge in adolescents (p = 0.000).
