Advanced Positioning Algorithms

This chapter discusses advanced positioning algorithms going beyond classical wireless positioning approaches. It starts with an extension of the derived algorithms to more sources, that is, the hybrid data fusion of position‐related information. Moreover, cooperative positioning is evaluated, where several mobile terminals can cooperate and exchange information about their positions. Finally, concepts for mitigation of multipath and non‐line‐of‐sight propagation effects are outlined.
