BESLENME SÜRECİ ANNE TUTUMLARI ÖLÇEĞİ (BSATÖ): GELİŞTİRİLMESİ, GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI* Kısa Başlık: Beslenme Süreci Anne Tutumları Ölçeği Geliştirme Çalışması

ABSTRACT Objective: Nutrition-related behaviours in young children were developed via the relations with the care-giver and almost always depends on the mutual relationships and interaction. The aim of this research was to develop a reliable and valid and suitable scale for our mother population to evaluate the feelings, thoughts and approaches related with mother feeding process in mothers of 9-72 months children. Materials and  Methods: The research was conducted in 26 kindergatrens and one Family Health Center in Ankara with participant mothers of children between 9-72 months (N=1121). In relation to the validity and reliability of the scale developed within the scope of the study; factor analysis, internal consistency coefficients, correlations, comparement of the difference between high and low 27% groups, t test for independent groups, experts judgements were implemented. Results: The data of 529 girls (% 47,2) and  592 boys (% 52,8) a total of 1121 mothers of healthy children were included in analysis. Mother ages were between 18-48 years ( = 34,87 ± 4,78 years). The scale produced five factors; “Negative Affect During Meal”, “Attitudes about Insufficient/Inbalanced Feeding”, “Negative Feeding Strategies”, “Forced Feeding”, “Reaction to Viewpoints of Others”. The total explained variances were; % 56,49, The Cronbach Alpha coefficient was 0,91 and test-retest reliability coefficient was 0,94. The Mean differences of high-low 27% groups were significant at p<0,001 for the scale. The factor structures of the scale were confirmed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Conclusions: Results were revealed that 27 item BSATO developed for the mother population of our country specifically, were a reliable and valid scale.
