Investigation and analysis of departments of township hospitals in Shuangliu County of Sichuan Province

Objective To provide information for the departments setting of township hospitals through investigating the departments of township hospitals in Shuangliu County.Methods The study used questionnaire survey and 21 township hospitals in shuangliu County were surveyed.All statistical analysis were performed with SPSS17.0.Results Departments of epidemic prevention and material and child care were set better.But no one set health education room.Most hospitals set normal in-patient departments like internal medicine and surgery.A few hospitals set department of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.No one set home sick bed.A few hospitals had operation room and sterile supply department and only one had pathology.Conclusion Prevention health care sections of township hospitals were deficient and we suggest pay more attention to them.Departments with primary care features such as rehabilitation and home sick bed should be further explored.We suggest township hospitals improve their basic medical technology departments.If possible,high level medical technology departments could be explored.
