New Catalysts of Methanol Oxidation into Formaldehyde
2014
The results of methanol oxidation to formaldehyde at the presence of iron-molybdenum catalyst fixed on silicate matrix are introduced for the first time. The elaborated catalyst is stable through time and does not depend on the methanol content at input in the learnt interval of temperatures (270-400oC). СН2О output fluctuates from 94.8 to 98.2% at selectivity on formaldehyde from 97.3 to 100%.
