Competence Center for Excellent Technologies in Advanced Metallurgical and Environmental Process Development

This paper describes the planned continuation of the actual Industrial Competence Network for "Metallurgical and Environmental Process Development" (KnetMET) by a "Competence Center for Excellent Technologies in Advanced Metallurgical and Environmental Process Development" (K1-MET). Success stories out of KnetMET and the expanded consortium of K1-MET are described. K1-MET will start its work after KnetMET will be closed in June 2008, according to plan.
