Examination of systematization of the holographic data storage

Holographic data storage (HDS) is a promising technology that has a huge capacity. A multiplexing method plays a significant role in increasing the data capacity. Various multiplexing methods have been researched so far. In this paper, we proposed shift-peristrophic multiplexing using spherical reference beam and experimentally verified that this method is efficiently increase the data capacity. A series of holograms was recorded with shift multiplexing and peristrophic multiplexing with the rotation of the material's surface.
